Big Clumsy Cat (Emma's human servant): Emma didn't sleep all afternoon. She was now in another bedroom, a place she rarely visited. She lay on the bed first, and after a while, she wanted to jump on the window sill. It was a normal height, but she could no longer jump up to it. She lay on the floor under the window sill. I let her rest for a while and then carried her to the window sill. There was marble there, and although there was sunshine, the countertop was very cold, so I spread a small blanket. Emma looked at the scenery outside the window, what was she thinking? I think she might be saying goodbye to Little Sparrow!

As the sun went down, I put Emma in her cat bed and placed it on the floor of the bathroom, which has floor heating. After I left, not long after, I found that she had left the bathroom. I finally found her in a corner of the living room. From the bathroom to the corner of the living room, it was usually like a walk for her. But now, she no longer has much physical strength. When she walks, her hind legs stagger as if she is drunk. This short distance was so long and difficult for her!

Emma is very strong. When she was sterilized as a child, her numbness had not completely subsided. When she saw me, she actually tried to stand up. Finally, she really stood up.

After a while, I suddenly heard a noise and saw that Emma had left her original place and was climbing onto a box next to the sofa. I helped her climb up and she stayed on the box to rest. I wiped her drool and comforted her. Suddenly, I thought of something...

Behind the sofa is where Emma stayed overnight when she came to my house for the first time. It should be the safest place in the house that she considers. This also shows that she knew that the time had come, and her animal instinct made her look for a safe place in the last stage of her life and slowly wait for the arrival of death.

I dragged the sofa out and cleaned up the back. It was very secluded but very warm because there happened to be a heater next to it. Usually this place is blocked to prevent Emma from getting in and getting her dirty. I think Emma must have crawled over from the side of the sofa just now, found that she couldn't get in, and then wanted to climb over the sofa. She worked really hard!

After I cleaned up, not long after, when I looked at Emma on the box again, she was no longer there. I walked over to the sofa and found that she was already lying in the gap behind the sofa. She ended this difficult journey!
