Big Clumsy Cat (Emma's human servant): With a "meow" that seemed to be deflated, I think that was Emma's last breath. I could no longer see the ups and downs of her body's breathing. She should have stopped breathing and her heart had stopped beating. But I think at this point, her brain is still alive, so I don't want to disturb her. At this time, it was about 8:40 pm.
After 20 minutes, I moved the sofa away. What a relaxing pose Emma left behind! I wiped her mouth and body, gently picked her up and put her in a big cardboard box, which contained her toys, flowers, and most importantly, her Little Turtle.
I contacted the funeral home and Emma will be cremated tomorrow morning.
